For this brief we were asked the question - What is Beauty? our responses would be in photographic form. There are two images and concepts here. One is a group piece about the struggles with gender identity and elasticity. The other is an individual piece inspired by the workshop with Lord Whitney, the concept was initially developed from seeing Rothko's Black Maroon series that makes the viewer feel trapped. The idea of personal and peer expectations; will you ever live up to how your see yourself in your eyes, your mother, your friends?
